Ang Muling Pagtatagpo: A Date to Remember

Matagal na din kaming di nakakalabas. Halos isang taon na din kami hindi nagde-date sa Jakarta Pusat. Ito ay dahilan na din sa paglipat na ginawa niya at ng kanyang pamilya sa labas ng Jakarta. Sa katunayan, once every 6 weeks lang kami magkita sa loob ng isang taon. And I've learned to live with it. Bagaman mahirap, ay nasanay na din kaming pareho sa madalang na pagkikita. Halos isang taon din naging ganito ang aming relasyon.

Subalit ang pagsubok na sadyang aming haharapin ay mas matindi pa sa every 6 weeks na pagkikita ay ang mangyayaring paghihiwalay namin ngayon darating na Disyembre. Matapos ang mahigit sa isang taon na relasyon ay magkakalayo kami ng sobrang tagal at ni hindi pa namin alam kung kelan ba ulit kami magkikita. Mahirap subalit kelangan naming harapin ang katotohanan. Muntik na din kaming di na magkita noong Hulyo subalit nagdesisyon ako na bumalik dito sa Indonesia.

I waited for him last Friday night. He was supposed to arrive at around 9pm. I was eagerly waiting for him coz we have not seen each other for quite some time. I was excited. He arrived at 9:30. And once inside the room, I immediately hugged him very tight. I missed doing it to him. We used to see each other every single weekend.

I made him rest and relax after coming from a long commute from his place. It was nice to lay down in bed, side by side, holding hands and watching TV together. It was also nice to converse with someone you love and eventually fall asleep after a warm shower in the evening.

Maaga ang iniskedyul namin na paggising dahil plano naming magluto ng breakfast. Sa aking paggising ay may nakadampi namang mga kamay sa aking ari. Mukhang libog ang aking asawa. At dito na nagsimula ang aming tatlong round ng pagtatalik sa umagang iyon. Sa sobrang sabik namin ay nakailang posisyon din kami at umabot kami ng tatlong rounds. Mula alas 6:30 ng umaga hanggang alas-11 ay wala kaming ginawa kundi maglampungan. CR at pagod na lang ang aming naging pahinga. Sadyang sabik kami sa halik, haplos at yakap ng isa't isa.


Matapos ang tatlong rounds ay nagshower kami nang sabay at ipinagpatuloy pa ang aming pagtatalik sa loob ng banyo.

After making love for half a day, we went to the Central part of Jakarta where we had our date. We first went to one of the upscale malls and strolled around while drinking our sodas. After some window shopping, we decided to see the biggest mosque in Southeast Asia, the Masjid Istiqlal. It was also his first time to visit that mosque although he has been staying in Indonesia for more than a decade already. We also went to the Jakarta Cathedral which looks very much like a church in Western Europe with its Gothic architecture. It was also his first time to enter the cathedral's compound. He told me that the last time he saw such style of a church was when he was in Europe a couple of years ago.

Indeed, the Jakarta Cathedral has a very nice architecture and very much similar to churches in Europe especially the Cathedrals in Germany and Spain. (tama ba Tita Marhk?)

What makes our date interesting is he does not allow me to take taxis. Instead, he makes me feel how it is to be an Indonesian resident. He makes me take the kopaja (ordinary bus) and the busway. I would always tell him that it's scary but he would always assure me that it is perfectly safe and besides, I'm with him, an Indonesian. The day ended with dinner and when he surprised me by buying a traditional Indonesian shirt called BATIK for me. It was really sweet and nice of him.

We both went home to rest and it was indeed a very restful sleep with his warm embrace.

I MISS HIM....and I will definitely MISS him when I go home.
